BANANA PUDDING ALA MAGNOLIA BAKERY WITH HOMEMADE VANILLA WAFERS
YUM!

I have been tempted for a long time every time I saw a picture or video of Magnolia Bakery's Banana Pudding. Although I haven't have a chance to try it, I always imagine that the texture must be soft and the combination of vanilla and banana is really good. Finally I made it myself, hopefully it tastes like the original hehe. Cause we don't have Nilla vanilla wafer here, so I made it myself (although it can also be substituted with marie biscuits or other cookies of your preference). After I tried several recipes, I can say that the best vanilla wafer recipe is the one from the "Baking Bites.com" blog. And for the vanilla pudding I use the same recipe as the pastry cream that I have made before, but this time I make a 1 1/2 times the recipe. Aaand ... Here it is, the Banana Pudding with Magnolia Bakery style. After it's stay in the fridge for 3 hours, the biscuit texture becomes soft like cake and the sweetness is perfect. YUM!
