Hellooo, kali ini saya lagi pingin bikin minuman yang manis dan seger nih, apalagi siang-siang gini, pas banget deh. Resep cendol ini emang banyak macemnya. Ada yang full tepung beras, ada yang pake kapur sirih, baking soda, nutrijell, ada juga yang dicampur tapioka. Kalo yang di video ini adalah cendol yang pake hunkwe dan tepung beras. Jadi teksturnya mirip cente manis, empuk-empuk kenyal, tapi lebih padat dan nggak terlalu kenyal kayak cendol yang full tepung beras dan pake tapioka. Tergantung selera yah. Ditambah santan, es batu dan gula merah, hmmm.. sluurrp banget :D 

ES CENDOL HUNKWE

Bahan-bahan :
CENDOL
120g tepung hunkwe
60g tepung beras
600ml air
3 daun pandan
1 sdt pasta pandan

SANTAN
600ml santan (saya : 200ml santan instan + 400ml air)
1/2 sdt garam
2 daun pandan

SIRUP GULA MERAH
200g gula merah
250ml air
2 daun pandan
1/4 sdt garam
2 sdt tepung maizena + sedikit air

Hellooo, this time I will make a sweet and refreshing Indonesian traditional drink, especially in this hot weather day, this is so perfect. There are a lot of variation of cendol recipe. There is one recipe that use only rice flour, some use lime betel, baking soda, jelly powder, also some are mixed with tapioca flour. The cendol in this video is a cendol that use a hunkwe flour and rice flour. So the texture is like a 'cente manis', soft and chewy, but more dense and not too chewy like the one that only use rice flour and tapioca flour. It depends on your preference actually. Adding a coconut milk, ice cubes and palm sugar syrup, hmmm... makes this drink more delicious :D

HUNKWE & RICE FLOUR JELLY WITH COCONUT MILK & PALM SUGAR SYRUP RECIPE

Ingredients :
CENDOL
120g (1cup) hunkwe flour
60g (1/2 cup) rice flour
600ml (2 1/2cups) water
3 pandan leaves
1 tsp pandan paste

COCONUT MILK
600ml (2 1/2cups) coconut milk (me : 200ml instant coconut cream + 400ml water)
1/2 tsp salt
2 pandan leaf

PALM SUGAR SYRUP
200g (7oz) palm sugar
250ml (1 cup) water
2 pandan leaf
1/4 tsp salt
2 sdt cornflour + some water
