3:29 AMJadi awalnya saya penasaran gara-gara nonton Masterchef Australia, di mana salah satu challengenya itu adalah bikin 'steamed pudding'. Pas diliat kok itu puddingnya bukan kaya di sini (yang pakai agar-agar) atau ala-ala Amerika (yang disebut juga custard, pake kuning telur dan maizena), tapi ini lebih kayak cake yang dikukus. Oooh.. kalo di Inggris/Scotland emang begitu yah ternyata. Steamed pudding tuh semacam cake (butter cake ato victoria cake yang berat tepung, gula, butter dan telurnya kurang lebih sama, ditambah pengembang) tapi masaknya dikukus. Biasanya satu mangkok gede ditutup pake alumunium foil, dikukus dan disiram saus coklat panas. Duuuh, ngeliatnya juga ngiler. Akhirnya saya bikinlah chocolate cake kukus ini. RESEP CAKE COKELAT KUKUS SIRAM
Untuk : 6 cup alumunium
Bahan-bahan :
cake coklat
115g mentega
115g gula
80g tepung terigu protein sedang
30g coklat bubuk
1/2 sdt baking powder
1/4 sdt baking soda
sejumput garam
2 telur
60ml yogurt tawar
1 sdt kopi + 1 sdt air panas
1/4 sdt pasta vanilla
saus cokelat
150g dark cooking chocolate compound
75ml krim kental
75ml susu
2 sdt mentega
1/8 sdt garam
1/4 sdt pasta vanilla

So, I just got curious at the first time when I watched Masterchef Australia and there's a challenge where they have to make a 'steamed pudding'. I look at it and wondering why the pudding is different with the pudding here (the one with agar-agar) or American pudding (also called custard, the one with egg yolk and cornflour), this pudding is more like a cake but steamed. ooh.. it turns out that it was what they call pudding in England/Scotland (butter cake or victoria cake which is the weight of flour, sugar, butter and eggs quite similar and then also added a leavening in it) but it was steamed. Usually they make it in a big bowl and then covered with alumunium foil, steamed and then poured by chocolate sauce on top. Wooow, it makes me really drooling just by looking at it. Finally I made this steamed chocolate cake (or chocolate steamed pudding). I found the recipe in www.poiresauchocolat.net and change it a little bit. The cake is delicious. Moist, buttery, chocolatty, and then added by a chocolate sauce. hmm.. I'm so happy :D

1 tsp coffee + 1 tsp hot water
1/4 tsp vanilla paste

75ml (5 tbsp) heavy cream
